Policies & Concerns
- The LIFE-FORCE Organisation abides by the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. LIFE-FORCE Counselling Service aims to achieve high clinical standards on a day-to-day basis.
- As such our policies and procedures are regularly developed and updated for the purpose of achieving this goal. All our Team Counsellors and Students on Placement are informed of these requirements, the implementation of which is the foundation for the Organisation being able to meet excellent professional standards.
- As an Organisation we aim to provide a quality service and therefore take any concerns or complaints seriously. If a client feels unhappy with any aspect of our Counselling Service, then they are encouraged in the first instance to raise their concerns with their counsellor. If the client remains unhappy then they can raise a concern ideally in the first instance by following the Concerns Policy for Service Users or make a formal complaint by following the Complaints Procedure for Service Users and Members.
The LIFE-FORCE Organisation has further policies that aim to provide equal opportunities and a confidential space to all those wanting to use our Counselling Service. These policies also aim to provide a welcoming and friendly environment that ensures the safety and well-being of all staff, counsellors, clients and visitors.
