The Therapy Rooms

The splendid Georgian building on East Hill offers a safe, warm & professional ambiance suitable for both one to one therapies and medium sized groups. Renovation works previously carried out restored many of the features back to their period charm and character.

The Centre has 7 therapy rooms, all of which have been decorated to an individual theme and finished to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Each room has two comfortable chairs, a small table, Venetian blinds to diffuse the light and double glazing to maintain a peaceful space.

The Sapphire Room
This room, as the name might suggest has a deep blue calming theme and is suitable for both individual & couple work. It is situated on the ground floor and is therefore suitable for disabled visitors including those who may be temporarily unable to manage the stairs.

First Floor

The Emerald Room
This room, as the name suggests has a deep green and gold theme with dark oak furniture creating a more traditional earthy style. It is situated on the first floor and is a spacious room suitable for individual & couple work.

The Amber Room
The Amber Room which is on the first floor has a welcoming feel created by the deep terracotta colour of the chairs and furnishings. Its slightly smaller size creates a cosier atmosphere which is preferred by some of our therapists when working on an individual basis.

The Coral Room
The tasteful theme of rich russet & gold along with the beech furnishing blend to give a more modern impression to the Coral Room. This room is located on the first floor and being the larger of the therapy rooms is also suitable for groups and meeting as well as individual & couple work.

The Amethyst Room
The Amethyst Room is situated on the first floor at the rear of the property and has a particularly uplifting feeling created by the lilac theme and the natural daylight. This room is a beautiful space suitable for both individual and couple work.

The Topaz Room
At the top of the building we have a small room which provides extra counselling space. However, this room is not suitable for disabled clients.

Basement

The Play Room
This room is located in the basement and has been specifically refurbished to meet the needs of a versatile play room. It is decorated in pale yellow creating a light sunny space with a sink & washable floor, which makes it ideal for the use of paints and other art materials. There are two large light oak storage cupboards containing a vast range of toys and games purposely selected to appeal to children and adolescents of all ages.

It has a warm & inviting feel ideal for working with children & families. The space is always cleared after use and is therefore also suitable for adult work.

Room Hire Costs

The LIFE-FORCE Centre hires out all the rooms to therapists & facilitators who can provide evidence of relevant qualifications, professional membership insurance and a DBS Enhanced Certificate when applicable. Please note the rooms are not suitable for therapists who use a couch.

Therapy Rooms £10.00 / hour.
