this Art Therapy course, as created by Nicole Joyce in conjunction with Denise
King. The course is a natural progression from the Certificate in P.C.A.T
Skills Course and is offered to students who:

(minimum 250 training hours).
- Have a Certificate in P.C.A.T
Skills (minimum 80 training hours).
Other creative therapy training will be
considered, but will require a pre-course practical art therapy
assessment.
- Can apply the course learning to
the work setting
Course
content: The course contains three main elements - theory,
self-awareness and application.
- The course will enable students to
deepen their understanding of P.C.A.T theory and to widen this core model by
exploring other humanistic approaches.
- The focus will be on experiential
learning through Person-Centred exploration of art work and a variety of other
creative medias including, clay, sand, puppetry, masks and toys, leading to
increased self-awareness and a deeper sense of individual spiritual beliefs.
- The students will have plenty of
opportunity to further enhance P.C.A.T skills and to develop new creative
skills including Art Dialogue. The enhancement of the students intuitive
faculties whilst applying the skills creatively with self, peers and clients
will be considered of prime importance.
